How much space do I actually need?
Enough to lie down and stretch your arms out — roughly a bath towel's worth of floor. Several of the moves work seated, so a chair and a metre of space is enough on a bad day.
I've never done pilates. Is this too advanced?
No — this is usually the first thing people buy. The resistance is medium: firm enough that you feel the muscle switch on, gentle enough that you can't force yourself into a bad position. There's nothing to learn beyond squeeze, hold, release.
Which muscles does it actually work?
Between the knees it targets inner thighs, glutes and the pelvic floor. Between the palms it works chest, arms and upper back. Held overhead it opens the waist and loads the deep core. Same ring, three positions.
Will it break or go soft?
The core is glass fibre, not plastic — it flexes and returns to shape rather than fatiguing. The foam is high-density NBR, the same material used on gym handles. It won't flatten the way budget rings do after a few weeks.
Does the colour change anything?
No. Black, Grey, Blue, Pink and Purple are the identical ring — same 38 cm diameter, same 390 g, same resistance. Pick the one you won't mind seeing in your living room, because that's where it will live.

I already own resistance bands. Why this?
Bands pull; a ring presses. That difference is the point — pressing inward is what reaches the inner thighs and pelvic floor, which bands can't load properly. If you own bands, this covers what they miss rather than repeating them.
Can I use it after pregnancy, or with a knee issue?
Plenty of customers do, and the movements are low-impact. But we're not physiotherapists and we won't pretend otherwise — if you're post-natal, recovering from an injury or managing a joint condition, please clear it with your doctor or physio first.
